Nova Sylva has focused its business on providing a high quality, reliable ‘get it right first time’ service since 1992. Our attention to detail, extensive experience, technical knowledge are combined with fully trained, long term staff to optimise the success of your project.
Over the years this approach has proven to be a significant benefit to our clients with many quality native plantings and exotic woodlots successfully established over the past 28 years and we continue to have ongoing long term relationships with our clients.
Mike Tapley has extensive knowledge of native and exotic species, site location and management of plantings. He holds a NZCF (1995) as well as national certificates in forestry and is a member of the NZ Institute of Forestry and NZ Farm Forestry Association.
Cameron Graham holds a NZ Dip of Business (1987), national certificates in forestry and had several years’ experience managing forest operations and crews in Canada.
Both Mike and Cam have been forest industry trainers and assessors and have had significant training and experience in health & safety.
